Judging Criteria: Projects will be evaluated based on criteria outlined in the rubric provided later in the packet.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three projects in each category. Prize distribution will be based on the judges' scores. Prizes are taxable to the extent of the law.

Intellectual Property: Participants retain ownership of their projects. However, by participating in TruHacks, participants grant TruHacks and its sponsors the right to use their projects for promotional purposes.

Disqualification: TruHacks organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or project that violates the competition rules or Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct Violations: Any violations of the Code of Conduct should be reported immediately to event staff for appropriate action. Refer to our website Truhacks.truman.edu to find our university’s code of conduct, policies, and Title IX.

Changes to Rules: TruHacks organizers reserve the right to modify the competition rules or schedule at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.
